I made the mistake not once, but TWICE.
When I had my first son, I gave into the crushing wave of follow-the-leader consumerism and purchased one of those H U G E hulking travel systems. You know the one... that you need a minivan to haul around? ... that leaves ZERO cargo room in your minivan ... that knocks over clothing racks and displays where ever you go? Yeh, that one.
After about a month of lugging the monstrosity, I began researching compact strollers. The problem? My expectations were high. I mean, really, I couldn't be the only mom who thinks if we (as people generally, not me personally) can invent a palm-sized computer, some one MUST have invented a really great compact stroller. Right?
My criteria was simple:
1. Must be compact in both open and closed positions (CHECK!)
2. Must be sturdy (CHECK!)
3. Must be well padded (CHECK!)
4. Must have full recline (CHECK!)
5. Must accept an infant car seat (CHECK!)
I've had my single Combi stroller now for well over two years, it's been all over with us, including to foreign countries. The complaints are few (not much cargo space, sometimes the steering is a little funny) but, overall I love it. Love it. Love it.
So, what did I do when I needed a double stroller? hahahahahahaha!
Yeh... So, I'm a slow learner. But now I have the Combi side-by-side double stroller and couldn't be happier. My minimal complaints are the same (not much cargo space & sometimes the steering is a little funny), but again, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Seriously.
And, if it had an abundance of cargo space, I never would've discovered The Most Amazingly Fabulous Diaper Bag In The World.
