Back when I was practicing law we did large teaching seminars several times per year. At the beginning of each seminar we handed out name badges which were printed ahead of time on the office printers. It never failed that we got several names wrong or misspelled and would have to hand write new "Hi My Name is: ___" stickers. It would have been nice to have an i.d. card printer though, rather than crampy hands at the end of the day.
Fortunately I only had to do this the first couple of years before I was promoted to some other equally awful duty.
***The story is mostly true, but please note, this was a compensated post.
